New Life Nursery Group Leadership
For personal and family reasons Margaret Sanders is stepping down from her role as Nursery Manager w.e.f. 31st August this year.
Margaret has worked in our Nursery Pre-school setting for 16 years, serving as Manager for the past 11 years and through her outstanding leadership has taken us from strength to strength, building on the foundations laid by her predecessor , Eleanor Blythe.
During this time Margaret gained her BA Hons Degree in Early Childhood Studies and Early Years Professional Status.
After prayerful consideration, we approached Alison Timbey, currently employed by the church as a part time Family Support Worker, and again after prayer and discussion with her husband Chris, she has agreed to take on the role of Interim Manager w.e.f. 1st September for the autumn term. Alison is a qualified teacher and in fact was previously Headteacher of a primary school.
The position will be advertised in the autumn term with a view to a permanent appointment from 1st January 2019 and Alison will of course be free to apply along with any other suitably qualified candidates.
Personal Message from Margaret
“After 11 years as Manager & 16 years as part of New Life Nursery, I have now decided to step down from the role so that I can focus more fully on being a Foster Carer & spending more time with my family. Alison Timbey has kindly agreed to take on the position in the interim, to provide leadership continuity in the autumn term. Alison has excellent credentials & leadership qualities & I have every confidence in her abilities. I can honestly say it has been an immense privilege to be part of such a caring community, to manage an amazing team of dedicated staff & of course develop friendships with the most wonderful children & their families, I shall miss you all.”
