Welcome to New Life Nursery Congleton, we have a lovely new web site for you to explore so please follow the link and take a look for yourself.

Our Nursery team is led by Manager, Alison Timbey and two Deputies: Sarah Morris and Rachel Williams

We place an emphasis on employing experienced and highly qualified practitioners.  As a result, all members of staff are qualified to at least level 3, with several holding Qualified Teacher Status. We encourage and support staff to continue their studies where appropriate.

Alison is the Nursery Manager and is also the Designated Safeguarding Lead and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.

Most of my career has been spent teaching or in school leadership based in Stoke-on-Trent. Before taking on the role of Nursery Manager I worked as a Family Support Worker for New Life Church. I am passionate about supporting families and as such am I licensed facilitator for Care for the Family’s Positive Parenting Courses. I have four children of my own, the eldest is 15 and the youngest 5; they keep me very busy when I am not a nursery.

Rachael is our Deputy Manager in the Rainbow Room.

As a teacher I’ve taught from two year olds through to adults, but working with preschool children and their families is where my heart lies. My husband is called Mark and we have two grown up children and a little dog called Jack. When the children were younger we spent three years in Sweden through Mark’s work. It was a fabulous experience and we still miss the snow! In my spare time I love curling up with a book, supporting Macclesfield Town FC with my husband, cooking for my family and friends and knitting socks.

Level 4 NVQ (Childcare)

Sarah is our Deputy Manager in the Preschool.

I have worked in childcare for over 16 years, 14 of them at New Life Nursery. Working at New Life Nursery doesn’t feel like a job, it feels more like a calling and where I feel I should be. I have worked my way up from an apprentice to Deputy Manager and I have recently completed my NVQ Level 4 in Early Years. Some of my hobbies include going to live gigs/shows and socialising with friends. I enjoy sports such as Formula 1 and wrestling, spending time with family and walking my dogs.
