Copies of the setting’s policies and procedures are available for you to see on request, or they can be emailed to you if you prefer. New Life Nursery Group’s policies are reviewed annually which helps us to ensure that the service we provide is of a high quality and that all children and staff are kept safe and secure. Any new or amended policies are displayed on the Nursery Information Board for parents/carers to read and feedback/comments are most welcome.
New Life Nursery Group has a duty under the law to help safeguard children against suspected or actual ‘significant harm’. Our employment practices insure children against the likelihood of abuse in our setting and we have a procedure for managing complaints or allegations against a member of staff. Our safeguarding co-ordinator (SOCCO) is Alison Timbey and our deputy is Rachel Williams.
It is part of New Life Nursery Group’s policy to ensure that its provision meets the needs of each individual child and we take account of any special educational needs or disabilities that a child may have. The setting works to the requirements of the SEND Code of Practice (2014). Our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENDCO) is Sarah Terry.
